ⅠIntroduction

Professionally dealing with industrial briquette, this kind of dryer is characteristic of the application of low temperature, strong airflow and gravity. Transported by belt conveyer to the furnace top, the water ball shaped material will be evenly distributed all over the total cross section on top. Orbiting the drying drum, the material will by gravity slowly fall off and be dried by the strong airflow resulting in the evaporated moisture taken out with the airflow. The material will be effectively dried for two hours or so.

Ⅱ Economic Features

Comparing with the commonly used dryer, the tower type dryer, also known as vertical dryer, accounts for only 1/2 investment and 1/5 to 1/3 floor space of the former; it also features low energy consumption and operation costs. Its usage characteristics embrace as follows:

  • The compatibility facilitates itself to be jointly and automatically used with other equipments as a whole;
  • Featuring convenient operation and simply maintenance, the machine costs no time in daily maintaining without components in mechanical movement;

Take the application in a large sized fertilizer plant for example. The dryer harvests a remarkable achievement in processing coal bars, which includes as follows:

  • Lowering the water content to 3% or so;

 Ⅲ Main Application

After the process by forming machine, the water content of the powdered coal takes up about 12% to 14% while after dried, it accounts for only 2% to 4%, meeting demands for intensity and storage, based upon which, it can stands just at 1.5% or even below after adaptive transformation. The dryer can also be used to process granule material like ore briquette and coal bars.

Ⅳ Primary Structure

The drying device, characteristic of high efficiency and dynamic, is mainly composed of stationary drum, two-way devices for material and airflow, heat exchange device and heat preservation device. The advanced dynamic technology enables material to evenly and thoroughly disperse in the drum so that the material can be dried by hot airflow with high efficiency. Technically, the hot air and material can exchange heat under the conditions of convection, radiation and heat conduction.
